Kayla Gutierrez set a new personal best in the shot put at the Illini Classic on Jan. 17. Gutierrez's toss of 46’ 8.25” was good for second place in the event and is the best in the Ohio Valley Conference this season. She also won the weight throw with a heave of 61’ 9.75”.
