Travis Hayes was named the 2014 Ohio Valley Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year, becoming the sixth Southeast Missouri pitcher to win the award. Hayes is 8-1 with a 3.22 ERA in 16 appearances and nine starts this season. He recorded 50 strikeouts in 78.1 innings and tossed two complete games. Southeast, this year's OVC regular-season champion, enters the league's postseason tournament as the No. 1 seed.
