Lucas Nutt was named to the All-Tournament team at the Cure UCD Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last weekend. A native of Jonesboro, Ark., Nutt scored double figures twice as the Redhawks won the tournament. He averaged 15.3 points and missed only six field goals in three games, shooting 70 percent (14-of-20). Nutt also shot 81.3 percent (13-of-16) at the free throw line and 71.4 percent (5-of-7) from three-point range, while dishing out a team-high 15 assists. He did not miss a shot in Southeast's Cure UCD Classic opener against Northern Kentucky (Nov. 29), hitting 6-of-6 from the field, 3-of-3 from downtown and 6-of-6 at the free throw line en route to a team and season-high 21 points. Two days later, Nutt dropped in 18 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out a game-high seven assists in the Redhawks 82-74 victory over Texas State (Dec. 1).
