2025 Outdoor: Ran in three meets...Ran the 1,500-meter race at the Ole Miss Classic in 4:09.80 and the 3,000-meters in 9:38.91...Finished 16th at the SIUE Cougar Classic with a mark of 4:07.69.

2025 Indoor: Ran in four meets...Finished in the top 10 four times...Opened his track career with a sixth place finish, and season best 9:11.80 at the Redhawks Invite...At the Rick McGuire Invitational he finished eighth in the 5,000-meters...He placed in the top 10 twice at the Don DeNoon Invite with a ninth place finish in the 800 (2:03.37) and a fifth place finish in the mile (4:30.51).

2024 Cross Country: Competed in four meets…Posted two new PR’s on the season…Started his SEMO career running at the Redhawks Invitational in the 5k race placing 37th and recorded a new PR with a time of 16:55.4…During the UT Martin OVC Preview ran the 8k in 26:12.7 which was fast enough for a new personal best and a 26th place finish…Ran the Gans Creek Classic 8k race in 27:25.8…At the Angel Mounds Invitational crossed the finish line in 28:02.7 during the 8k race.

Prep: Started varsity all four years for head coach Kaleb McMunn at Glendale Highschool...Has best times of 15:34 (5k), 9:51 (3,200-meter),   4:23 (1,600-meter) and a 1:59 800-meter dash as he was voted first team all-conference in his final high school season...Finished fourth in his district, along with qualifying for state. He is also top three all-time in Glendale High School history in the 5k...In addition to his running, Sam was voted Academic All-Conference all four years of his high school career. 

Personal: Born August 19, 2005...The son of Fred and Tonya Rinehart...Studying Animal Sciences at SEMO.
