2023 Outdoor: Competed in seven events…Tallied five top ten finishes…Opened the season at the South Alabama Invite with a fifth place finish in the high jump, jumping for a height of 5' 10.5" (1.79m)...Ran the 4x400 with his teammates in 3:30.37 for ninth at the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays…At the Joe Walker Invite finished the decathlon in fourth with 5861 total points, within the decathlon placed third twice, in the shot put (36' 8.25") and the high jump (6' 1.5"), also notched two silver medals in the discus (112' 6") and the pole vault (13' 3.5")...Recorded a new personal best in the discus, achieving a mark of 126' 10" (38.67m), also placed sixth in the 4x400 crossing the line at 3:25.08 at the Memphis Tiger Invite…After all the events in the decathlon Bissell found himself with the bronze medal around his neck when he finished with a total of 6262 points, during the decathlon placed top five in all events besides three, including third place finishes in the shot put (38' 0.25", 11.59m) and the 110-meter hurdles with a new PR (16.01), also cleared a height of 13' 7.25" (2nd) in the pole vault and 6' 4" (1.93m) for first in the high jump.

2022 Indoor: Participated in seven meets…Recorded seven top-five finishes…Earned a third-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 6’ 2.75” (1.90m) at the 2022 Redhawks Invite…Set a new PR at the Indiana University Relays in the heptathlon 1000 meter (3:07.18) which earned a fifth-place finish…Posted a new personal best in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.36 (3rd) and finished second in the pole vault at 14’ 1.25” (4.30m) in the Redhawks Open…Totaled a career best 4,698 points for third in the heptathlon and earned a sixth-place finish in the pole vault 14’ 2,5” (4.33m) at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
2021 Outdoor: Competed in eight outdoor meets…Earned a personal best in the Men’s Discus Throw at the 2021 Joey Haines Invite with a throw of 126’ 4” (38.52m) earning him nineteenth place. Earned another personal best at the same event in the Men’s Pole Vault with a mark of 14’ 7.25” (4.45m) earning him fourth place…Achieved personal bests at the Sycamore Open in the Men’s 400 meters (53.09) and the Men’s Long Jump with a mark of 20’ 2.25” (6.15m)…Achieved a personal best at the OVC Championships in the men’s decathlon with an overall score of 6268 earning him third place for the event.
2021 Indoor: Competed in three indoor meets…Achieved a personal best at the Redhawks Open in the Men’s High Jump with a mark of 6’4” (1.93m) earning him fourth place, as well as the Men’s 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.56 earning him seventh place.
2020 Indoor: Competed in five meets…Ranked sixth in the OVC for heptathlon…Made Redhawks debut with a mark of 19-2.75 (5.86m, eighth) in the long jump at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet (12/6/19)…Finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 6-0.75 (1.85m) at the 2020 Redhawks Open (2/21)…Also set a PR in the 55 meter hurdle prelims of 8.74…Totaled a career best 3,982 points for sixth in the heptathlon at the 2020 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship (2/26-27)…Was second in the heptathlon pole vault (12-9.5, 3.90m), fourth in the 60 meters (7.59), long jump (19-5.25, 5.92m) and 60 meter hurdles (9.48) and fifth in the shot put (32-7.5, 9.94m)…Also had a personal-best high jump mark of 6-2 (1.88m, ninth)…Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
