2016 Outdoor: Made four appearences... Recorded back-to-back first-place finishes at the Joey Haines Invite (4.90m; 16’0.75”) and the SIUE Gateway Invite (5.02m; 16’5.5”).

2016 Indoor: Appeared in six meets... Recorded four top-four finishes... took first at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet with a height of 4.60m (15’1”)... Set PR of 5.06m at the 2016 Redhawks Invite with third-place finish... Finished fourth at the OVC Championships (4.55m; 14’11”).

Prep: 2014 graduate of Jackson High School... Lettered all four years... Three-time state qualifier in the pole vault... Three-time conference champ... Personal best in the pole vault is 15’6”... Also played football and wrestled... Named team captain of his football and wrestling teams. 

Personal: Born May 2, 1995... Son of Jeffery and Mary Beth Rush... Studying Physical Therapy at Southeast Missouri.
