2018 Cross Country: Ran in six meets…Finished sixth at the Saluki Cross Country Invitational (8/31), clocking in a career-best 5K time of 16:14.0…Placed third at the SIUE John Flamer Invite (9/14) with a mark of 26:57.6…Crossed the finish line 33rd with a time of 25:47.2 at the OVC Cross Country Championship (10/27)…Set a career-best mark of 32:56.1 (97th) in the 10K at the NCAA Division I Midwest Region Cross Country Championships (11/9).

2018 Outdoor: Competed in one meet...Won the 5000m at the Memphis Tiger Invitational (4/27-28), clocking in at 15:36.45.

2018 Indoor: Ran in six meets...Placed second in the mile (4:23.48) at the SEMO vs. SIUE Dual Meet (12/8)...Recorded a personal-best mile time of 4:17.90 (25th) at the Vanderbilt Invitational (1/19-20)...Also finished second in the distance medley relay (10:19.99)...Was third in the 5000m (PR, 15:14.99) at the 2018 Indiana University Relays (1/26-27)...Placed fifth (8:47.23) in the 3000m at the 2018 Hoosier Hills (2/9)...Finished eighth (15:19.45) in the 5000m and 13th (4:30.90) in the mile at the Ohio Valley Indoor Track and Field Championships (2/23-24).

2017 Outdoor: Appeared in seven meets...Had three top-10 finishes...Set a career-best in the 800m in 1:56.09 (23rd) at the Georgia Tech Invitational (4/21)...Placed third in the 4x400m relay (3:18.66) at the Ole Miss Classic (5/6)...Finished 15th in the 1500m in 4:05.62 at the OVC Championship (5/11)...Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
2017 Indoor: Competed in six meets...Had seven top-10 finishes...Placed first in the 3000m in 9:02.38 at the SEMO vs. SIU-Edwardsville Dual (12/9)...Finished first in the distance medley relay in 10:42.46 at the 2017 Indiana University Relays (1/27)...Also set a personal-best in the mile (4:19.82, 15th)...Finished sixth in the dmr (10:47.18), tenth in the mile (4:23.65) and 19th in the 3000m (9:19.00) at the OVC Championship (2/24).

2016 Cross Country: Ran in six meets…Had three top-50 finishes…Took seventh at the Gabby Reuveni (9/2) with a time of 19:22.7…Landed in tenth (18:41.6) at the Rebel Invitational (9/9)…Finished in 39th at the OVC Championship (10/29) with a time of 26:51.5.

2016 Outdoor: Competed in seven meets…Accumulated five top-10 finishes…Set new career-best time (1:59.06) in the 800m…Collected a fourth (4x400m) and fifth-place (1500m) finish at the SIUE Gateway Invite (4/16) with times of 3:37.97 and 4:03.35, respectively…Finished fourth in the 5000m (15:43.64) at the Joey Haines Invite (4/2).

2016 Indoor: Competed in six meets…Compiled nine top-10 finishes…Set PRs in the mile (4:20.34) and 3000m (8:52.09)…Added a second and fourth-place finish at the SIUE Dual Meet (1/29) in the distance medley relay (11:08.16) and 3000m (8:55.54), respectively…Finished fourth in the distance medley relay (10:47.79) at the OVC Championship.

2015 Cross Country: Ran in five races…Placed sixth at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird with a time of 20:25…Finished second on the team and 38th overall at the OVC Championships (26:46.4).

2015 Outdoor: Competed at seven meets…Set PRs in 1500m (3:59.52) at the OVC Championships and 3000m (9:23.24) at the ASU Red Wolf Open…Earned six top 10 finishes.

2015 Indoor: Saw action in seven meets…Set PRs in the 800m (2:06.92), mile (4:22.24) and 5000m (15:43.23)…Finished fourth in the distance medley relay (10:24.54) at the OVC Championships…Placed first in the mile at the DePauw Indoor Invitational with a time of 4:27.34…Took first in both the mile (4:29.24) and distance medley relay (10:44.34) vs. SIUE…Totaled six top five finishes.

2014 Cross Country: Ran in five total meets as a true freshman... Finished 14th in his NCAA debut at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird with a time of 19:59... Finished 189th at the NCAA Midwest Regional. 

Prep: 2014 graduate of Pleasant Plains High School... Named team captain his senior year... Was a four-time all-state performer in track and a two time all-state honoree in cross country... Personal bests include a 4:25 1600m, 9:32 in the 3200m, and a 1:58 800m.

Personal: Born February 5, 1996...Son of Mike and Cheryl Plunkett…Studies Higher Education Administration at Southeast Missouri...Brother, David Plunkett, also competes in cross country and track & field at SEMO.
