2025 Indoor: Competed in one meet...Placed second in the shot put and wight throw at the Redhawks Invite with a throw of 55' 1.5" in the SP and 63' 2" in the WT
2024 Outdoor: Threw in eight meets…Recorded 22 top ten finishes with 14 being top five performances… At the Richard Martin Invitational notched two third place marks of 150' 2” (DT) and 195' 6" (HT) while throwing for a distance of 50' 6.25" in the shot put for fifth…The only home meet saw him chalk up throws of 53' 6.25" (6th) in the shot put, 151' 2" (9th) in the discus, and 207' 7" (4th) in the hammer throw…at the Georgia Tech Invitational placed second, fifth, and fourth in the shot put (55' 0.25"), discus (159' 2"), and in the hammer throw (196' 10")... After achieving throws of 54' 2.75" (SP), 153' 4" (DT), and 199' 11" (HT) he landed in fourth twice and third once…Posted second, third, and fourth place finishes at the OVC Championship with distances of 57' 2.25" (SP), 204' 10" (HT), and 161' 11" in the discus.
2024 Indoor: Threw at nine meets…Tallied 16 top five finishes with ten being top five performances…Began the season with a gold and silver medal at the Edmunds Wilt Invite in the shot put (52' 8.75”) and the weight throw (65' 6", PR)...Threw for a first place mark of 56' 4" in the shot put at the Redhawks Invite…After the Bellarmine Open concluded he was wearing the bronze in the weight throw with a 62' 5.25" distance…Chalked up distance of 53' 9.25" (1st) in the shot put and 63' 3.5" (2nd) in the weight throw at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic…To claim third and fourth place he achieved marks of 53' 5.5" in the shot put and 62' 9.5” in the weight throw at the Samford Bulldog Invite…Grabbed two fourth place finishes in the weight throw (65' 1.25") and shot put (54' 2.5") at the Samford Bulldog Open…Ended the season at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship with first and second place throws of 54' 2.5" (SP) and 64' 3.25" (WT).
2023 Outdoor: Threw at all nine meets…Chalked up 23 top ten finishes, including 11 top three performances…Started the season off with a PR in the discus, achieving a mark of 152' 3" (46.42m) for fifth, also posted throws of 52' 2.5" (2nd) and 183' 5" (7th) in the shot put and hammer throw…At Mississippi State Relays finished fifth in the shot put (52' 11.5", 16.14m) and third in the hammer throw (197' 4", 60.15m)...At the Joey Haines invite recorded a new personal record in the hammer throw, throwing for a mark of 208' 7" (63.57m) for third…Grabbed the silver medal twice at the Cougar Classic, the first in the shot put (54' 10", 16.71m) and the second in hammer throw (206' 11" 63.06m), also tacked on a throw of 135' 5" (4th) in the discus…Threw for a distance of 57' 4.75" (17.49m) in the shot put to notch another PR, also placed third in the hammer throw (206' 5", 62.93m) at the Georgia Tech Invitational…Finished third and fourth in the hammer throw and shot put with distances of 201' 0" and 53' 3.75" during the Memphis Tiger Invite...At the Arkansas Twilight finished with a silver and a bronze in the hammer (198' 8", 60.56m) and the shot put (52' 11", 16.13m)...At the OVC Outdoor Championship placed second twice, one in the shot put (56' 6.5", 17.23m) and the other in the hammer (203' 10", 62.12m), also threw for a distance of 148' 0" (5th) in the discus. At the NCAA West Preliminary threw for a distance of 203’ 4” (61.98m) finishing in 26th place in the hammer throw.
2023 Indoor: Threw in eight meets…Took 12 top five finishes…Won the OVC male Track athlete of the week once…Opened the season in style at the Edmonds-Wilt Invitational, throwing for 54’ 2”(16.51m) mark to take first in the shot put and a 58’ 4.5”(17.79m) mark for fourth in the weight throw… In the 2023 Redhawks Invite he continued to perform, throwing his way to second place in shot put with a distance of 53’ 5”(16.28m) and earning fifth place in weight throw with a distance of 57’ 9.5”(17.61m)... The PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic saw Swadley set a new personal record in weight throw, with a distance of 61’ 10.5”(18.86m, 4th), along with a second place finish in shot put at a distance of 53’ 3”(16.23m)...In the 2023 Hoosier Hills meet set yet another personal record at 56’ 10.75”(17.34m) in shot put coming in fourth place, as well as coming in fifth in the weight throw (59’ 0.75”, 18.00m)... At the 2023 Redhawks Open placed second in the shot put with a throw of 55’ 7.75’’ (16.96m) and third in the weight throw (60’ 7.25’’, 18.47m)... During the OVC championship set a new PR in the shot put, throwing for a 57’ 0.75’’ (17.39m) mark for the gold and obtaining fourth and another new PR in the weight throw (62’ 1.25’’, 18.93m).
2022 Outdoor: Saw action in 10 meets…Had 10 top five finishes and three top three finishes…Placed third in the shot put at 55’ 11.75” (17.06m) which was a new personal best during the Joey Haines Invite…Set another PR in the hammer throw earning a third-place finish while throwing for 192’ 2” (58.57m) at the Wichita State Shocker Open…Placed fourth in the shot put (54’ 1.75”) (16.50m), third in the hammer throw (189’ 5”) (57.73m) and set a new PR in the discus to garner sixth at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships.
2022 Indoor: OVC Freshman of the Year...Competed in eight meets…Had nine top five finishes and seven top three showings…Opened the season with a third-place finish at the Fred Wilt Invitational in the shot put (52’ 8.75”) (16.07m)...Finished first in the Shot Put with a throw of 53’ 2.75” (16.22m) and third in the weight throw with a mark of 56’ 10” (17.32m) at the Redhawks Invite…At the Don DeNoon Invite, registered second in the shot put with a throw of 53’ 9.25” (16.39m)...Set a PR in the weight throw with a throw of 60’ 0.25” (18.29m) at the Redhawks Open which earned him a seventh-place finish…Finished first in the shot put (53’ 11.25”) (16.44m) and second in the weight throw with a throw of (59’ 10.5”) (18.25m) at the OVC Indoor Championships.
Prep: Attended Willard High School where he lettered and started three years competing in hammer, shot put, discus, and weight throw...Was a state champion in shot put and discus to cap his senior season...Scored 20 points at state to help his team finish of fourth place with 42 points...Reached a ranking of fourth in the nation in shot put his senior year...Class State record holder and All time state record holder at the time in the shot put with a throw of 20.41 meters..Was the sectional, regional champion in shot put and discus and also the Conference champion in shot put...Holds the school record in the shot put with a distance of 20.41m...Named the best in “Boys Field”, and had the “Performance of the year” out of all sports at the Springfield sports commission awards...Finished third at state his sophomore year...Was inducted into the Willard high school Hall of Fame...Other than track and field he also competed in Football, Wrestling, Basketball, and Rugby in high school.
