2014 Outdoor: Competed in seven outdoor meets in 2014... Ran a career-best 10.45 100m dash at the OVC Championships, finishing runner-up in the event... Placed third in the long jump with a leap of 7.55m, a season-best, at the OVC Championships... Won the long jump (7.41m), the 100m (10.57), and the 4x100 relay (41.37 seconds) at the Joey Haines Invitational... Member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

2014 Indoor: Competed in seven indoor meets including competing at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the long jump... Finished 14th in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with a lead of 7.15m... Had a career-best 7.73m long jump at the OVC Championships, winning the event... Also won the 55m dash at the OVC Championships in a career-best 6.72 seconds... Was named 2014 OVC Athlete of the Championship... Was named OVC Field Athlete of the Week on Feb. 26... Tied the school’s 55m dash record with a mark of 6.19 seconds at the Redhawks Invite... Also broke the school’s 60m dash record at the Indiana University Relays with a time of 6.72 seconds. 

2013 Outdoor: Competed in eight meets… Placed seventh in the 100m (11.00/wind-aided 10.79 prelims) at the OVC Outdoor Championships (5/3-4)… Took fifth in the long jump (23-5 1/2) at the conference meet… Finished the 100m in a career-best (non-wind aided) 10.95 at the Joey Haines Invitational (4/5-6).

2013 Indoor: Competed in eight meets… Scored in both the 60m (fifth; 6.91/6.92 prelims) and long jump (sixth; 23-0 3/4) at the OVC Indoor Championships (2/22-23)… Took second in the long jump (career-best 23-9 1/2) in a dual meet against SIU Edwardsville (2/1).2012

2012 Outdoor: Competed in six meets… Took fourth in the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 24-1 at the OVC Outdoor Championships… Also ran a leg in the 4x100m relay (42.09), which placed third at the conference meet… Won the long jump (career-best 23-6) at the Joey Haines Invitational.

2012 Indoor: Competed in six meets… Finished third in the long jump with a distance of 23-8 3/4 at the OVC Indoor Championships a career-best jump… Recorded a career-best time of 6.56 in the 55m dash at the Redhawks Invite finishing second… Recorded seven top-10 finishes… Finished second in the long jump at the Redhawks invitational with a jump of 23-7 1/2.

Prep: Graduate of Jackson High School… Lettered all four years… Finished first at Kansas Relays and at Missouri Relays…Had a career best in long jump with 23’1… Won state in long jump.

Personal: Son of Tim and Shari Smith… Born May 28, 1993.
