Women's Basketball Falls Thursday Night

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball (8-14, 4-9 OVC) fell to Morehead State (15-9, 10-3 OVC), 71-57, at the Show Me Center. Despite forcing 18 turnovers and recording 8 steals, the Redhawks were unable to overcome Morehead's 10 made 3-pointers.

First Quarter
- Morehead State opened with a 5–0 lead, including a 3-pointer by Marie Sepp.
- Raissa Nsabua brought Southeast within two points with a layup and a free throw at 8:35.
- Morehead responded with back-to-back baskets, extending their lead to 10–3.
- By the end of the quarter, Morehead led 21–12.

Second Quarter
