Redhawks Trek to Lindenwood for Saturday Afternoon Matchup
Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball (8-16, 4-11 OVC) will stay on the road to take on Lindenwood on Saturday, February 14, in St. Charles, Mo. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m., CT. from Hyland Arena.

Series History
The Redhawks and Lions meet for the ninth time in women's basketball Saturday afternoon with the series deadlocked at 4-4. Saturday's meeting marks the second matchup this season with the first one resulting in a 78-66 LU victory in Cape Girardeau. SEMO won the first four games of the series but have since found themselves on a four-game losing skid. The Redhawks' last victory in St. Charles, Mo. came in an 80-63 victory on January 11, 2024.Â

SEMO Women's Hoops suffered a setback on Thursday night, their first-of-four-straight road games, with a 69-61 loss at SIUE. The Redhawks could not get their offense going until the fourth quarter where they shot a game-high 57-percent from the field. Center
Ainaya Williams came off the bench and played 16 minutes, scoring 21 points on 9-13 shooting. Guard
Carmen Taylor was the only other Redhawk to join Williams in double figures with 13 points in 32 minutes of action.Â

The Redhawks did get major production off the bench last night from four players in
Ainaya Williams,
Lexi McCully,
Zoey Rixter, and
Charmen Taylor. Williams led the bench scorers with 21 points, followed by McCully (4), and Rixter and Taylor each scoring two. The SEMO bench outscored SIUE's bench by a 29-2 mark.Â

The Redhawks outshot SIUE at the charity stripe in last night's contest. SEMO finished the game 15-19 at the line (79%) while SIUE missed eight foul shots going 13-21 (62%) from the line. Four Redhawks were a perfect 100% at the line including
