Volleyball Heads to Indiana for Indiana Invitational Thursday & Friday
Southeast Missouri Volleyball (1-2) will take part in their second tournament to begin the 2025 campaign this Thursday and Friday, Sept. 4-5, in Bloomington, Indiana. The Redhawks will face off with Big Ten Conference member Indiana (Sept. 4) on Thursday evening, before a pair of matches on Friday with Western Michigan (12 p.m.) and Northern Kentucky (3 p.m.). The matches will take place at Indiana University from Wilkinson Hall.

Series History
Indiana
Thursday evening's matchup with the Hoosiers will mark the fifth meeting between the two programs on the volleyball court. IU holds a 4-0 advantage over SEMO, with the most recent meeting coming during the 2021 season (IU, 3-2).

Western Michigan
The first match of Friday's slate will feature the fifth meeting between the Redhawks and Broncos, and the second in three seasons. Most recently, SEMO defeated WMU by a final score of 3-1 during the 2022 season. Before that, WMU won the first three meetings between the programs. WMU holds a 3-1 series advantage heading into Friday's match.

Northern Kentucky
The Redhawks & Norse meet for the second time in program history in the final match of the Indiana Invitational. According to the Southeast Missouri media guide, the two teams met all the way back during the 1984 season for the only meeting between the two in volleyball. Southeast Missouri won the match 3-2. This is the first meeting between the two since SEMO transitioned to Division I during the 1990-91 season.

Opening Weekend
SEMO Volleyball opened the 2025 campaign last weekend in Starkville, Mississippi at the 'Maroon & White Invite' hosted by Mississippi State.
