Spring Break
•    Southeast Missouri opens a five-game road trip during its spring break this week. 
•    The Redhawks will play midweek games at Central Arkansas (Tuesday) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Wednesday) before returning to Ohio Valley Conference play at Western Illinois this weekend.
•    SEMO faces UCA at 4 p.m. Tuesday and UAPB at 2:30 p.m., CT Wednesday in its first midweek games of the season.

Series Notes
•    The Redhawks are 3-2 all-time against Central Arkansas and 1-0 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
•    Southeast Missouri last played UCA in 2019 winning, 11-7, in Conway, Arkansas.
•    SEMO is 1-0 against UAPB and plays the Lions for the first time in 17 years. 

OVC Opening Series Win
•    Southeast MIssouri is coming off an Ohio Valley Conference opening series win against UT Martin.
•    SEMO won two of three games against UTM in Cape Girardeau on May 8-9.
•    The Redhawks swept the Skyhawks in a doubleheader by scores of 1-0 (10 innings) and 6-1 before coming up short in the series finale, 6-5.
•    SEMO moved to 22-11 all-time in OVC openers and started league play for the 11th time in 15 seasons.
•    The Redhawks also won seven of their last eight home-openers.

12-Game Hitting Streak for Dennis
•    Sydney Dennis had another big weekend, this time hitting .667 (8-for-12) with four runs scored, three doubles and one RBI in three games vs. UT Martin (Mar. 8-9).
•    Dennis had multiple hits in all three games of the series.
•    She started the weekend by going 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored and followed that up with two hits, two runs scored, a double and one RBI in game two. Dennis concluded the series going 3-for-4 with one more run scored.
•    Dennis also had a .917 slugging percentage, a .615 on-base percentage and three stolen bases.
•    She extended her hitting streak to 12 games and had multiple hits in seven of her last eight contests.

Kell Pitching Well
•    Delaney Kell went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances and one start against UT Martin.
•    Kell threw 7.2 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts to only one walk.
•    She gave up just three hits and combined on a shutout, as well.
•    Kell (3-1) leads the team with three wins this season.
