Volleyball Announces Final 2024 Signee

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Volleyball has announced its final signee for the 2024 season on Monday afternoon. Head Coach Julie Yankus completes her signing class with six-foot, middle-blocker, Lexi Morse from Quinnipiac University.
Morse, a native of Tampa, Fla., spent the last four years at Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference-member, Quinnipiac where she played in 84 matches and nearly 300 sets for the Wildcats (296).
Over her career, Morse recorded 395 kills on 969 total attacks for an overall hitting-percentage of .236. She registered a 1.33 kills-per-set mark in her four seasons.
Last season, Morse recorded a career-high 129 kills on 309 total attacks. At the net, she finished with a career-high 19 solo blocks and 65 block assists for 84.0 total blocks (.84 blocks-per-set). She recorded 180.5 points (1.81 points-per-set) in her final season at Quinnipiac.
In 2023, Morse had a season-high 10 kills against Gardner-Webb, six blocks against Marist, and 12.5 points against Iona.
She majored in health science studies at Quinnipiac and will be a graduate student in the Fall at Southeast.
