Pippin Named Stats Perform National Special Teams Player of the Week

Southeast Missouri kicker DC Pippin was named Stats Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week Monday.
A native of Springfield, Illinois, Pippin scored a career-high 18 points in Southeast Missouri's 54-45 win over Western Illinois. He connected on 4-of-4 field goals, hitting from 43, 20, 40 and 34 yards and was a perfect 6-of-6 on PATs. The four field goals made matched a career-high and tied for third-most by a FCS player this season. Pippin also had 11 kickoffs for an average of 55 per kick with four touchbacks. He leads the FCS in field goals per game (2.36) and is fourth in scoring (10.1 ppg).
Pippin is SEMO's first Stats Perform FCS National Player of the Week honoree since Geno Hess was named Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 20, 2022.
