Football Remains at #6 in Both Stats Perform Media and AFCA Coaches Polls

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri remained at #6 in both the Stats Perform Media and American Football Coaches Association Coaches Polls on Monday for the second consecutive week.
Last week, SEMO Football reached its highest ranking in school history at #6 as the Redhawks remained with the same ranking after a 30-24 victory over Gardner-Webb on Saturday afternoon.
SEMO is now 8-1 overall with a perfect 5-0 record in Big South-Ohio Valley Conference Association play. The Redhawks extended their winning streak to seven games heading into their second bye of the season.
SEMO has been ranked in both the AFCA Coaches and Stats Perform Top-25 polls seven consecutive weeks. That mark makes it 39 weeks in either poll under Head Coach Tom Matukewicz.
