CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics' Lindsay Ockler was selected for the Midwest Independent Conference 'Performance of the Week', the league announced Wednesday morning. 
 
Ockler, a junior from Huson, Mont., registered a 9.900 on the Bars in last Friday's dual meet with MIC-member, Centenary. Ockler finished first overall for the event in the meet, marking her first rotation victory of 2024. 
 
Last season, Lindsay tied a SEMO Gymnastics program record on the Bars when she registered a 9.925 against Texas Woman's (Jan. 27, 2023) a season ago. The score added to a rotation record on the Bars, as the Redhawks registered a 49.325 surpassing the previous record of 49.250. 
 
Ockler would go on to win the 2023 MIC Bars Championship and is currently a back-to-back defending champion in the rotation heading into 2024. 
 
SEMO Gymnastics will be in action this Friday, January 19, when they take part in the Tennessee Collegiate Classic. Competition is slated to begin at 7 p.m., CT. in Lebanon, Tenn.
