Redhawks Claim Three Seed As USAG Field Is Officially Set

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics will participate in the USAG Championships In Denton, Texas hosted by MIC-member Texas Woman's on April 6-8 at the Kitty Winter Magee Arena.
The field consists of top-seed Lindenwood, Texas Woman's (#2), SEMO (#3), Air Force (#4), Brown (#5), West Chester (#6), Yale (#7), and Southern Connecticut State (#8).
The championship field has been officially set as of March 20, as the Redhawks claimed the third overall seed with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.050.
SEMO will compete in session two on Thursday evening, April 6, at 7 p.m., CT. against the host and two seed TWU (195.055), sixth seed West Chester (193.925), and seventh seed Yale (193.920).
The Redhawks will begin the evening on the Uneven Bars and will have Centenary's Taylor Ann Wilson competing as an individual in their group.
TWU will begin on the vault, Yale will be on the balance beam, and West Chester will begin session two on the floor.
Lindenwood claimed the top seed with a NQS of 195.275 and will compete in the first session.
The top two teams from Session One and the top two teams from Session Two will advance to the Team Finals on Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m. For the individual competitors, the top five individual scores from each session will advance to the individual finals on Saturday, April 8 at 1 p.m.
