Most recently, the Redhawks opened OVC play with a 62-52 win at SIUE and a 80-73 loss against UT Martin. SEMO earned its first win in an OVC opener since 2015-16. Rekha Patterson secured a win at the Vadalabene Center for the first time as the Redhawks head coach. Tesia Thompson leads the team with 17.2 points per game. Adrianna Murphy averages 4.2 assists and 3.3 steals per contest. SEMO has forced 15-plus turnovers in 12 of 13 games this season.

Scouting the Governors
The Governors are 7-6 overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference this year. Austin Peay is 0-5 on the road with losses to Cincinnati (48-69, Nov. 6), Vanderbilt (70-99, Nov. 12), Western Illinois (72-77, Dec. 2), Illinois State (49-61, Dec. 4) and Evansville (52-56, Dec. 18). The Governors defeated Eastern Kentucky, 100-65, to start OVC play. Junior forward Arielle Gonzales-Varner leads APSU with 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
