ALLEN PARK, Mich. - The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that they have signed former Southeast Missouri cornerback Mike Ford to the active roster from the practice squad.

Ford joins the team's active roster after beginning his rookie season on the Lions practice squad in 2018. He originally came to Detroit as an undrafted free agent. Ford (2014-17) was a three-year starter at SEMO. He finished his career ranked 18th all-time in career interceptions (7). Ford earned Second-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors in 2015.
