The Redhawks have won the last two meetings with the Golden Eagles including picking up a 60-57 road victory last season. In 2015, Southeast earned an overtime 68-66 home win, snapping a six-game losing skid to TTU. Four of the last five meetings have been decided by three points or less.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
Tennessee Tech finished non-conference play with a 3-10 record under first-year head coach Kim Rosamond. The Golden Eagles, who are in the midst of a six-game road swing, are 1-6 on the road this season and have lost five of their last six games. Most recently, TTU dropped an overtime road contest at Lipscomb, 71-69. Yaktavia Hickson is the lone TTU player averaging double-digit points with 16.3 points a game. Her scoring average ranks second in the OVC this season. As a team, Tennessee Tech averages 59.3 points per game, ranking last in the OVC but have only allowed 66.8 points per game. While Southeast leads the OVC with 15.7 offensive rebounds a game, Tech ranks second with a 15.2 average. Treyvonna Brooks ranks sixth in the league with 7.2 rebounds a game and leads the OVC with a 3.5 offensive rebound average.

Looking Back
SEMObrought its non-conference schedule to a close Dec. 19 with a 75-47 win over Alabama A&M. A 30-point third quarter for Southeast broke open what was a relatively tight game at halftime. Hannah Noe set a new season high in scoring, finishing with 21 points. It was her first 20-point game of the season and second of her career. Noe drained five 3-point buckets. Her 21 points was one shy of tying a career best. She extended her double-digit point streak to five games which is currently the best active streak on the squad. Ashton Luttrull was the only other Redhawk to reach double-figure scoring, tallying 12 total points. Bri Mitchell fell just shy of recording a triple-double in the game. The senior dished out a career-best 13 assists, the first double-digit assist game of her career. She finished the game with seven points and a career-best eight rebounds. For the second game in a row, Olivia Hackmann was Southeast's leading rebounder, finishing with nine. The Redhawks shot a respectable 43 percent from the floor including hitting nine 3-pointers and going 8-for-10 from the free-throw line. Southeast also outrebounded the Lady Bulldogs 48-32. SEMO fell just shy of a season high in assists, finishing with 24.

Non-Conference Review
The Redhawks finished non-conference play just under .500 at 6-7. A total of three Redhawks averaged double-digit points, led by Olivia Hackmann with 14.2 points per game. Hackmann is also one of the top rebounders on the team, co-leading with a 6.5 rebounding average with Deja Jones. Southeast's 540 total rebounds ranks 23rd in the country.

Last Year at this Time
Southeast Missouri held a similar record of 7-7 at the end of non-conference play a season ago. The Redhawks opened OVC play winning five of its six games including winning its first three straight. Southeast went on to finish OVC play with an 8-8 record and qualifying for its first OVC Tournament since 2009.

In the OVC, the Redhawks rank third behind Belmont and Murray State in 3-pointers made but lead in 3-point shooting. Hannah Noe's 40 3-pointers rank 12th in the country, second in the league. Noe has 90 career made 3-pointers, ranking her tied for eighth in Southeast's career top-10 list. The Redhawks' 16 3-pointers against Stephens (Dec. 4) ranks tied for seventh-most in Division I this season.

Murphy has had two double-digit assist performances this season including a career-high 14. Her 14-assist game is the sixth most in an NCAA game this season. Senior Bri Mitchell recorded her first double-digit assist game against Alabama A&M with 12. As a team, the Redhawks rank 15th in the nation with 226 total assists.

Eyes on a Grand

There are 16 total members of Southeast's 1,000-point club, only seven of which have come in the Division I era. Sonya Daugherty and Tarina Nixon (2005-09) were the last inducted into the club.
