Redhawks Storylines
1. Southeast is the defending Midwest Independent Conference champion. Heading into the weekend, Redhawks are averaging a total score of 193.050 this season, which was the highest ranking of all MIC programs and 51st-best score nationally.
2. As a team, the Redhawks recorded a season-high score of 194.550 in Sunday's victory vs. Texas Woman's. Southeast established a season-best floor exercise score with a 48.675. Ashley Thomas won the all-around with a career-best 39.100 and won the vault and beam titles. Alyssa Tucker claimed the uneven bars and floor titles.
3. Redhawks athletes were named MIC Gymnast of the Week following the first three meets of the season. Tucker received the award in two consecutive weeks while fellow sophomore Thomas earned recognition following the season opener.
4. Thomas has a team-high 22 scores of 9.700 or better this season and 38 during her career, which ranks second to Tucker's mark of 42. With three event titles on Sunday, Thomas increased her career total to nine, which also ranks second to Tucker's 10.
5. With a season-best 48.825 on vault Jan. 23 at Oklahoma, the Redhawks tied for the 10th-highest vault score in program history, marking the third time that score has been achieved. Alexis Brawner posted the highest individual score of the season for Southeast with a 9.850 while Tucker set a career-best with a 9.800 on vault.
