Cross Country Runs at Bradley Classic Friday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri's cross country teams participate in the Bradley Classic Friday, the Redhawks final meet before this year's Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
On the heels of a 10th-place men's finish and ninth-place showing for the women, Southeast is looking for a strong performance in Peoria.
"Bradley is a great meet with good competition, " said head coach Ryan Lane. "It is our last tune-up before the conference meet. We always want to be in a position to improve from the previous week and have a better position heading into OVCs."
The Bradley Classic is an all-day event, consisting of four races. It includes two 8k races for the men and two 6k races for the women. The first race starts at 3 p.m.
This year's event is held at the USTFCCCA certified Newman Golf Course, which has been the host of several Missouri Valley Conference and NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
