About Southeast: The Redhawks are 7-8 overall and 0-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play after falling 62-55 at Tennessee State on Jan. 3. The Redhawks erased a 15-point deficit in the second half to tie the game with 2:03 left but were unable to complete the comeback. Jasmine Robinson scored a game-high 17 points while Connor King added eight points and 12 rebounds. Olivia Hackmann contributed nine points.
 
For the year, Southeast is shooting 37.6% from the field, 25.5% from 3-point range and 60.3% from the free throw line. Robinson leads offensively with 12.1 points and 2.3 assists per game. Allyson Bradshaw and Olivia Hackmann are each averaging 7.5 points per game. Bradshaw leads the squad with 21 baskets from beyond the arc. Erin Bollmann averages 7.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest off the bench, including three double-doubles, five double-digit scoring and six double-digit rebounding performances. Connor King leads the team with 9.2 rebounds per outing, which ranks third in the OVC.
 
About Morehead State: The Eagles are 4-5 overall and 1-0 in OVC play. Morehead defeated Murray State 64-63 on Jan. 3 in their OVC opener. Almesha Jones leads the team and ranks third in the OVC with 16.8 points per game. She leads the OVC with 8.1 assists and ranks second with 2.9 steals per contest. Eriel McKee averages 14.3 points and a team-best 8.5 rebounds while Shay Steele is scoring 14.2 points, leads the OVC and ranks 29th nationally with 2.2 blocks per game. 
 
Robinson Voted OVC Newcomer of the Week: Senior guard Jasmine Robinson was voted Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 16 after registering the first double-double of her Southeast career with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the victory over Detroit on Dec. 13 in the Glass City Classic. Robinson added 10 points and eight rebounds earlier in the week at UMKC and scored eight points with four boards, two assists and a steal vs. Idaho on Dec. 14.
 
For the week, she averaged 12.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists. She shot 33.3% (12-for-36) from the floor and 66.7% (6-for-9) from the free throw line. Her double-double vs. Detroit was her first since Nov. 19, 2012, when she set career-highs with 26 points and 13 rebounds vs. North Texas while competing for Alabama.
 
Bradshaw Climbing Triples Leaderboard: Senior guard Allyson Bradshaw ranks third in Southeast history with 144 made 3-pointers during her career. Julie Meier (1991-95) holds the record with 174 triples while Tarina Nixon (2005-09) ranks second with 169.
 
On Dec. 14 vs. Idaho, Bradshaw drained a season-best four 3-pointers in the second half and was also a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line during the final 20 minutes in setting a new career-high with 21 points.
 
Scholar-Athletes: As a team, the Redhawks recorded a 3.3 cumulative grade point average during the 2014 fall semester.
 
Close Call at Ole Miss: The Redhawks dropped a heartbreaker by one point at Ole Miss on Nov. 25. After battling back from a 12-point deficit in the first half, Southeast took a 1-point lead with 1:11 remaining and held on to it before the Rebels inbounded the ball with 0.9 seconds left and scored on a layup at the final buzzer to win 58-57.
 
Looking Ahead: Southeast will host Eastern Kentucky in an OVC matchup Saturday afternoon at the Show Me Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
