All-Comers Meet ResultsÂ
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri track & field program held a highly successful 2015 All-Comers Meet Saturday, Jan. 10. The meet was held at the Student Recreation Center North.
Â
"We had a great event that our team is proud of and will hopefully continue to benefit our program and community in the future," said head cross country/assistant track coach
Ryan Lane. "At the end of the day, we determined this was our most successful All-Comers Meet to date. Hopefully we can continue to cultivate and grow the event to total capacity in the future."
Â
The all-day event saw a total of 239 athletes compete, mostly high school and junior high athletes. Recreation Services counted approximately 480 total people through the doors; including spectators, coaches, and athletes alike.
Â
The Redhawks track & field program uses the annual indoor meet as a fundraiser. This year's meet raised over $2,750 for the Redhawks.
Â
Lane also mentioned the over 20 track & field student-athletes who volunteered their time over break and helped make this meet such a success.
