Peiffer Clears 100 Tackles
Southeast linebacker
Blake Peiffer became the second Ohio Valley Conference player to go over 100 tackles this season. Peiffer cleared the mark when he had a game-high 11 tackles at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10). He has registered more than 100 tackles in back-to-back seasons, becoming the first Redhawk to accomplish that feat since Adam Casper had 108 in 2006 and 112 in 2007. Peiffer ranks second in the OVC and tied for 13th in the nation in tackles through 10 starts this year. He now has 110 on the season.
