Kristin Jones began working full-time at Southeast Missouri in 2016. Jones works primarily with the Redhawks cross country and track & field teams.
Most recently, Jones served as a Graduate Athletic Trainer at Southeast Missouri. She served as the athletic trainer for the Redhawks’ men’s and women’s cross country and track & field teams. While with the Redhawks, she worked several postseason events including NCAA Cross Country Regionals, the Division I Track & Field West Preliminary Rounds, as well as the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Jones received her Bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri in May 2014. During her undergrad, she acquired over 1,500 hours of clinical experience with UCM’s Division II teams, including the 2014 National Championship men’s basketball team. As part of her undergraduate clinical rotations, she had the opportunity to provide Athletic Training services in several non-traditional settings, including the 2013 Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association American Royal Pro Rodeo as well as the 2013 Army ROTC Ranger Buddy Challenge. Also worked the 2013 Mid America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Indoor Track and Field Championships, the 2012 NCAA Division II South Central Regional Baseball Tournament and the 2011 NCAA Division II Football Kanza Bowl.
Jones is a native of Sweet Springs, Missouri.
