Chase Johnson begins his first year as Southeast Missouri’s recruiting coordinator and nickelbacks coach.
Johnson comes to Cape Girardeau after working one season as special teams coordinator at Pittsburg State.
He played linebacker at Pittsburg State from 2019-21.
Johnson, who hails from Pittsburg, Kansas, was an assistant coach at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M during the 2022 season.
He graduated from PSU with a bachelor’s degree in physical education in May 2021.
