The 2026 season marks the first for assistant coach Chance Resetich on the SEMO Baseball Coaching Staff. Resetich is a former Redhawk player, who played from 2023-2024.
Most recently, Resetich coached for the Pistol Shrimp in the Prospect League during the 2025 Summer.
During his time as a Redhawk, Resetich helped SEMO Baseball capture the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Title and played in the first NCAA Regional final in school history. Resetich started at third base for Coach Sawyers in that game against Kansas State.
Following his final season as a Redhawk, Resetich played a graduate year at Harding University. Playing centerfield for the Bison, He helped lead the program to its first Great American Conference (GAC) tournament championship and first NCAA Division II regional final appearance.
He finished his collegiate career as a .316 hitter with a total of 255 career hits, 109 of which were extra base hits. He played all over the field, primarily on the infield for SEMO and the outfield for Harding.
He is a native of Spring Valley, Illinois and his brother, Mac, is a defensive back for the Univeristy of Illinois football program.
