Carter Redford

2025 marks the first season for assistant coach Carter Redford on the sideline for the Southeast Missouri Women’s Soccer program under first year head coach, John Klein. 
 
A native of St. Charles, Mo., Redford spent the last four seasons playing men’s soccer at Columbia College under Coach Klein from 2021-2024. He played in 81 games while making 61 starts during his playing career. He scored seven goals, dished out 14 assists, and accumulated 28 points over his four-year career. 
 
Redford was a two-year captain for the Cougars in his final two seasons in Columbia, leading his team to the NAIA Men’s Soccer Final Four and won the American Midwest Conference (AMC) two times from 2021-2024. 
 
He was an all-conference first team selection following his senior campaign (2024) and was a three-time AMC Academic All-Conference selection. During the first AMC conference championship season (2023), Redford was selected as the AMC Tournament’s MVP and landed on the All-Tournament team. 
 
Coach Redford graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Sports Management, and minor in Finance in 2024. 
 
Redford attended Francis Howell Central High School in St. Charles, Mo., where he played for head coach Derrick Phillips. He was a first team all-conference and all-state selection during his high school career. 
 
He is the son of Jeff & Michelle Redford and currently resides in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
