Brendan Boylan begins his first year as Southeast Missouri’s offensive coordinator in 2026.
Boylan spent the last three years as pass game specialist, running backs and tight ends coach at the University of Missouri.
There, he collaborated directly with the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator in weekly offensive game planning and managed in-game analytics, down and distance tendencies and coverage identification among other duties.
Boylan coached the wide receivers as a graduate assistant at Missouri in 2022. In that role, he helped coach First-Team All-American and All-SEC honoree Dominic Lovett and Luther Burden III, the 39th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Prior to that, Boylan was offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Notre Dame College University and pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Mercyhurst University.
He first started coaching as a graduate assistant at Mercyhurst in 2016. Boylan then went to Midwestern State as a graduate assistant the following year in 2017.
Boylan played quarterback and was his team’s placeholder at Mercyhurst from 2011-15. A team captain, he set 17 school records, including nine single-season marks during his career.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Mercyhurst and earned his master’s degree in sports administration at Midwestern State.
