2023:
Played in 24 sets over nine matches played in her second season as a Redhawk…The setter dished out 94 assists for a 3.92 assists-per-set ratio, a career-best…Had a career-best 31 assists against Chicago State (9/2)…Recorded 39 digs (1.63 DPS) and four service aces…Had six kills on 21 total attacks for a .190 hitting-percentage…Season was cut short due to injury. 

2022: Competed in 45 sets over 12 matches…Made one start…Fourth on the Redhawks with 108 assists and third in assists per set (2.40 a/s)...Also registered 87 digs (1.93 digs/set), one kill, and five service aces…Recorded two double-doubles and had double-digit assist in six matches…Started the season registering 16 assist (4 assist/set) and eight digs (2 digs/set) against Jackson State(8/27)....Followed up that performance with 10 assist and seven digs verse Green Bay (9/2)...Had an impressive outing against Lindenwood (10/28) with 15 assist and nine digs…Notched a career high in assists and digs against SIUE (11/05) with 19 assists and 17 digs helping the Redhawks secure the victory, 3-1…Followed that up with another double-double with 13 assists and 11 digs against Morehead State(11/11).

Prep/Club:
Competed for Sports Performance Volleyball Club in Aurora, Illinois...Current Redhawk Kayla Closset and former SEMO volleyball players Laney Malloy, Krissa Gearring, and Kelsey Keeve were also members of Sports Performance Volleyball Club before heading to Cape Girardeau...Helped Sports Performance capture the 2022 AAU National Championship as Tournament MVP for the 18 Club Division…Coached by Cheryl Butler, Matt Slechta, and Steve Justice at Sports Performance…Was a three-year letterwinner at Plainfield Central High School…Coached by Erik Vogt at Plainfield Central HS…Registered 1,000 plus assists in two seasons as a starter...Named all-conference, team MVP, and to the Illinois Prep Volleyball Special Mention List as a senior…As a sophomore, tabbed all-conference and Plainfield Central HS Female Underclassmen of the Season…Graduated from Plainfield Central HS in May 2022…Member of the National Honors Society and earned the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award, Academic Excellence Award, SPC Scholar Athlete and President’s Education Awards Program honors.

Born on October 20, 2003…Daughter of Jason and Patty Shook…Full name is Jennifer Ann Shook…Sister, Katie Shook, is a senior libero/defensive specialist on the Alabama Crimson Tide Volleyball Team…Eldest sister, Ashley Shook, was a setter on the Texas Longhorns Volleyball Team and played Beach Volleyball at Washington…Ashley Shook currently is the volunteer assistant volleyball coach at LSU…Her father, Jason Shook, played golf at Lewis University (1987-91) and played professional golf from 1991-97…Intends to major in Business with a minor in Interior Design at SEMO.
