2015 Outdoor: Competed in five meets…Set season best in shot put at 13.01m (42’8.25”) at the Gibson invitational.
2015 Indoor: Saw action in five meets…Set personal-best mark in shot put (44’9”) at the Redhawks Invite…Finished sixth in shot put (42’11”) vs. SIUE.
2014 Outdoor: Did not compete.
2014 Indoor: Did not compete.
Before Southeast: Competed in the shot put and discus at Johnson County Community College for a year.
Prep: Lettered all four years at Jackson High School... Conference champion in the shot put in 2011... Qualified for the state championship his junior season... Captain of the football and wrestling team his senior year.
Personal: Born Nov. 29, 1993... Son of Richard and Debby Rushin, both Southeast Missouri graduates... Majoring in Education.
