Preseason All-OVC...Made 24-consecutive starts at quarterback...Ranks among Southeast's single-season and career leaders in several categories...Currently has 3,382 passing yards and 1,628 rushing yards in his career.


2010:
Became the first Southeast quarterback to earn First-Team All-OVC honors...First-Team CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District selection...FCS College Football Performance honorable mention honoree (10/25)...Two-time OVC Offensive Player of the Week (9/12, 10/24)...Started all 12 games...Completed 109-of-182 passes for 1,246 yards and eight touchdowns...Ranked second on the team in rushing with 887 yards and seven touchdowns on 169 carries...Ranked among the top-10 OVC leaders in passing average (6th, 103.8 ypg), pass efficiency (5th, 128.6 rating) and total offense (5th, 177.5 ypg)...Threw only three interceptions, second-fewest in the OVC...Rushed for over 100 yards in three games with a season-high 134 on 16 carries at Murray State (9/11)...Threw for a season-high 177 yards and three touchdowns vs. Eastern Kentucky (10/23)...Had 15 passes of 20 or more yards, including a season-long 51-yard strike against the Colonels...Had 16 rushes of 10 or more yards...Broke free for a season-long 60-yard run at Murray State (9/11)...Southeast Scholar-Athlete.

 

2009: Southeast Scholar-Athlete…Started all 11 games...Completed 141-of-284 passes for 1,596 yards and 11 touchdowns…Averaged 145.1 passing yards per game…Was the team’s second-leading rusher who ran for 605 yards and four touchdowns on 129 carries…Averaged 3.8 yards per rush…Piled up 2,083 yards of total offense, fourth-best in the OVC…Completed 11-of-18 passes for a career-high 222 yards and two touchdowns in his first start of the season against Quincy (9/3)…Had two passing TDs in four of his starts…Threw a career-long 75-yard touchdown pass to Chantae Ahamefule vs. Murray State (11/14)…Completed 19 passes of 20 or more yards…Five of his touchdown passes went for 30 or more yards…Ranked among the top-10 OVC leaders in passing average (6th), pass efficiency (9th, 100.5 rating) and total offense (189.4 ypg).

 

2008: Played in 10 games and made two starts at quarterback...

Completed 44-of-102 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns and threw three interceptions...Was the Redhawks third-leading rusher with 63 carries for 254 yards and two touchdowns...Named OVC Newcomer of the Week during the final week of the season after completing 12-of-24 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns at Austin Peay (11/22)...Also ran for 73 yards on 17 carries and had a career-long 21-yard run in that game...Threw for 108 yards (10-of-21) and a touchdown vs. UT Martin (11/15)...Scored first career rushing touchdown when he dove

into the corner of the end zone on a 3rd-and-goal in overtime vs. Tennessee State (10/25)...That touchdown was the decisive score...Made first career start under center at Murray State (11/8)...Made his Southeast Missouri debut at then-No. 6 Missouri (9/6), completing 5-of-13 passes for 46 yards...Threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Walter Peoples at Jacksonville State (10/4)...It marked the first touchdown pass of his career...Threw for 54 yards (6-of-16) and gained 40 yards on six carries at Eastern Illinois (10/18)...Southeast Scholar-Athlete.

 

Prep: Garnered First-Team All-State honors as an all-purpose player at Washington High School...Was also a First-Team All-Conference and All-District quarterback...Earned Second-Team All-State laurels as a defensive back...Threw for 1,732 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushed for 959 yards and 12 TDs as a senior...Registered 59 tackles and four interceptions and recovered two fumbles in 2007...Coached by Jeff Duncan...Third-Team All-District honoree in basketball and honorable mention All-Conference pick in baseball...Was First-Team Academic All-Conference.
