2018: Missed the season due to a broken foot…Was granted a medical hardship…Southeast Scholar-Athlete.
2017: Started eight games at inside linebacker...Collected 33 tackles with 15 solo stops...Notched 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks...Had one pass breakup and three quarterback hurries...Returned his only interception 21 yards for a touchdown at Tennessee State (11/11)...Posted a season-high six tackles vs. UT Martin (11/4)...Ranked fourth on the team in sacks and ninth in total tackles.
2016: Played in 11 games...Valuable contributor on special teams...Registered 20 tackles, 12 solo stops, two tackles for loss and a sack...Had two or more tackles in five contests...Recorded his first career tackle for loss and sack at Southern Illinois (9/10)...Other tackle for loss came against Austin Peay (10/29).
Toledo: Saw action in five games during the 2015 season...Redshirted as a true freshman with the Rockets in 2014.
Prep: First-team all-conference, all-metro and all-state as a senior linebacker at Ritenour High School, accumulating 50 tackles and one interception...Threw for 1,783 yards and 13 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,415 yards and 20 touchdowns...As a junior, carried the ball 116 times for 846 yards, averaging 7.3 per carry, and caught 17 passes for 385 yards... On defense, was credited with 15 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery...Garnered first-team all-district and second-team all conference accolades...Member of the St. Louis Rams squad that was selected to participate in the NFL High School Player Development 7-on-7 National Tournament...Also ran track in high school, competing on a 4x200 relay team that finished second in the state in 2013.
Personal: Born February 28, 1995...Son of Alritha and Dajuan Alexander...Has two brothers, Terrelle and Chase, and two sisters, Asia and Chloe... Already earned his bachelor’s degree in General Studies in December and will complete his Master of Arts in Secondary Education…Enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve in April and will report to Naval Station Great Lakes (north of Chicago) on Jan. 7, 2020.
