Southeast Missouri State University Athletics

Ryan Napoli returned to Southeast Missouri as Director of Sports Performance in 2020.

Napoli previously worked two seasons as the Redhawks strength and conditioning coach before working the 2019 campaign as Director of Sports Performance at Northern Illinois. 

In 2018, SEMO finished 9-4, including a second-round appearance in the NCAA Division I Football Championship for the first time in school history and finished the season ranked No. 15 (STATS Media) and NO. 16 (AFCA) in the final 2018 FCS Polls.

Prior to SEMO, Napoli spent six years on the strength and conditioning staff at FCS powerhouse North Dakota State. He assisted the Bison football team during five national championship seasons and directed the strength and conditioning efforts for the track & field and wrestling teams at NDSU.

Napoli graduated from Simpson College in Iowa. He is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Napoli is also certified in First Aid and CPR.
