Dan Lounsbury

    Offensive Assistant Coach
Lousbury has 25 years of coaching expereince, including being offensive coordinator at Tulsa (2002), Houston (1994-1998), Howard Payne (1978), and Sam Houston State (1976-78). He also served as offensive coordinator of the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in 1993 and as wide receiver coach of the New York-New Jersey Knights in the World League of American Football. He also served as an assistant at Texas Christian (2001-2002), Kentucky (1999-2000), Purdue (1987-1990) and Texas (1986).

Lounsbury, a graduate of the University of Arkansas where he was quarterback, was head football coach at Wisconsin-Surperior (1991-1992) and Southeastern Oklahoma State (1980-1985).

"Dan Lounsbury is a coach with great offensive credentials and adding him to our offensive staff will help me devote my time to defense," said Billings who will act as defensive coordinator this fall. "With the addition of Lounsbury, our new offensive coordinator, Rob Likens, will have a veteran staff that can run the offense. Likens and Lounsbury are good friends and have spent a lot of time together in the past."
