Cole Cook sets to begin his second year as tight ends coach at Southeast Missouri.

Cook coached the first All-Ohio Valley Conference tight end in his career when Will Weidemann earned second-team honors in 2022.

Before SEMO, he spent the last two seasons as offensive analyst on Eli Drinkwitz’s staff at Southeastern Conference member Missouri.

A native of Carrollton, Georgia, Cook played tight end at North Carolina State from 2014-17.

One of the top leaders on the Wolfpack’s 2017 squad, Cook was elected to serve as team captain by his teammates for the 2016 season.

Cook caught his first career touchdown pass vs. Old Dominion and earned the team’s Al Michaels Award as a junior in 2016.

As a prep, Cook played at Carrollton High School, which finished with a 13-2 record as 4A state runner-up his senior year. He was a 4A All-State selection in 2013 and was the No. 26 tight end nationally and No. 48 player in Georgia by ESPN.com.

Cook and is wife, Reagan, reside in Cape Girardeau.
