Prep: First-Team All-Conference honoree at Kickapoo High School...Three-year letterman and two-year starter...Named Conference and Region Offensive Player of the Year...Earned All-City Most Valuable Player accolades and was named honorable mention All-State...Threw for 1,935 yards and 27 touchdowns his senior year...Also ran for 564 yards and nine TDs that season...Threw for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns, while rushing for 579 yards and another seven TDs as a junior...Garnered All-Conference and All-District laurels as a junior...Was a member of the basketball and track & field teams, as well.
