Prep: Earned All-Conference and All-District honors at nearby Jackson High School...Finalist for the Carr Trophy given annually to the best offensive player in the SEMO Conference...Threw for 2,002 yards and 19 touchdowns while completing 60.2 percent of his passes in 11 games as a senior...Went 8-1 under center and led the Indians to their sixth-straight SEMO North Conference Championship...His season ended with an injury in the district playoffs...Was teammates with fellow SEMO newcomer Zane Coon.
