2023: Was limited to one game due to a broken leg injury...Started at punter for the season-opener at Kansas State (9/2)...Punted eight times for 328 yards and dropped four of his punts inside the 20-yard line during that game...Had a 54-yard punt against the Wildcats, as well...Was later granted a medical redshirt.

Eastern Michigan: Academic Mid-American Conference selection at Eastern Michigan…Did not see action as a punter…Joined the EMU program in 2020.

Prep: Attended St. Augustine Prep High School…First-Team West Jersey Football Conference, All-South Jersey, First-Team Courier Post All-Conference and First-Team Philadelphia Inquirer All-Conference honoree…Earned Atlantic City honorable mention and Second-Team All-State accolades…Averaged 40.4 yards per punt as a senior…At linebacker, he led the team with 62 tackles…In 2018, he averaged 33 yards per punt with a long of 60…Thirteen of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line…Was the 2018 New Jersey Fall Punt Champion and a 2019 Vegas XXXIII Punt Finalist…Rated as a 4.5 star talent by Chris Sailer Kicking…Was the top-ranked punter in the state of New Jersey according to Kohl’s Professional Camps…Also played rugby and baseball.

Personal: Majoring in Business Administration...Son of Paul and Erin Heston…Raised funds for kids with cancer with every punt during his 2019 prep season.
