2025 Outdoor: Competed in six meets...He recorded two individual top-10 finishes...He opened the outdoor season at the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Miss. (3/21-22) finishing the 800-meter race in 26th with a time of 1:57.88. He also ran the 1,500-meter and finished with a time of 4:07.01 in 35th...He earned his first top-10 of the outdoor season at the Pacesetter Sports Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. (3/29) with an eighth place finish in the 800-meter with a time of 1:55.31...At the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala. (4/11-12) he ran the 800-meter in 1:53.94 finishing in 18th place...He set two PR's at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. (4/18-19). He finished 24th in the 800-meter with a time of 1:52.35. In the 1,500-meter he finished with a time of 3:58.29...He ran the 800-meter at the Clark Wood Open (4/25-26) in Louisville, Ky. in a time of 1:53.65 finishing 19th... Wrapping up his freshman season at the OVC Outdoor Championships he finished second in the 800-meter with a time of 1:54.74 and ran in the 4X400-meter relay finishing fifth.
2025 Indoor: Competed in seven meets...Recorded four top-10 finishes...Competed in his first collegiate track meet at the Redhawk Invite (1/11) where he ran the mile. He finished with a time of 4:23.14 finishing fourth...He followed that up with another fourth place finish in the 800-meter at the Show-Me Showdown in Columbia (1/17). He also ran a leg of the 4X400-meter relay which resulted in a fifth place finish...At the Crossroads of America Invitational, in Indianapolis Indiana (1/24-25), he ran the mile in 4:36.02 finishing in 27th place and also ran in the DMR which finished fifth...He ran two individual events at the Rick McGuire Invitational in Columbia (1/31-2/1) which were the 800-meter which he ran in 1:57.53 finishing 21st and the mile which he ran in 4:24.75 finishing 22nd...At the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. (2/7-8) he ran the 600-meter for the first time in the season finishing in eighth place with a time of 1:20.88...At the Don DeNoon Invite in Carbondale, Ill. (2/15) Anderson finished second in the 800-meter with a time of 1:55.41...He wrapped up the indoor season at the OVC Championships (2/24-25) running the 800-meter and finished with a time of 1:54.25 and also had a pair of fourth place finishes on the 4X400m relay and the DMR.
2024 Cross Country: Competed in five meets…Recorded two PR’s during the season…Started his collegiate season at the SEMO Redhawks XC Invite placing 44th with a personal best time of 17:10.9 in the 5k race…During the UT Martin OVC Preview raced in the 8k and finished with a time of 27:08.8…At the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo. ran a time of 26:37.8…Crossed the finish line in 26:19.8 in the 8k which was fast enough for a new PR at the Angel Mounds Invitational 2024…At the 2024 OVC Cross Country Championships placed 70th finishing with a time of 27:09.4.
Prep: Lettered and started all four years while running track and cross country for Fort Zumwalt East High School...Competed in the 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x400m, 4x800m in track and ran the 5k in cross country...Has the second fastest All-Time 5K time in Fort Zumwalt history with a time of 15:44...In cross country Anderson was a four time state cross country individual qualifier, two time GAC Central Conference Champion, and a one time all GAC Conference Champion... Was a three time First Team GAC All-Conference selection, one time Second Team GAC All-Conference selection, one time District Champion, three time First Team All-District selection, and a one time second team all-district selection...Placed eighth at the 2024 XC state championships for the highest placing individual in FZE history...Recorded personal best times of 22.5 (200m), 49.89(400m), 1:53.99 (800m), 4:15.46 (1600m) throughout his high school career...Became an eight time event state track and field state qualifier (7 individual, 1 relay)...At state he placed fourth in the 800m as a freshman, second in the 1600m and 800m as a senior and eighth in the 1600-meter event as a junior...Was a GAC Conference Champion (6 individual, 1 relay) seven times as well as a the school record holder in both 400m and 800m...Accomplished GAC All-Conference honors nine times and is the GAC Conference record holder in the 800m and 1600m...A perfect six for six in the 800m and 1600m at the GAC...Five time individual District Champion and one time relay district champion...In track & field notched All District honors ten times, and All Sectional honors eight times...Crowned the sectional champion four times in track and field...Named the Post Dispatch Athlete of the Week twice and the Most Valuable Runner four times...A qualifier for the New Balance Indoor and Outdoor National Championships and the Hoka Festival of Miles...Accomplished All-American honors in the 1600-meters...His cross country team was a state qualifier three times and qualified for state in the 4x800m relay in 2023.
