1991 Gymnastics Team - USGF Division II National Champions
The 1991 gymnastics team won the U.S. Gymnastics Federation Division II national championship and became the first Division II school to ever qualify for the NCAA Division I Central Regional where Southeast finished fourth. Six team members won All-America honors, including Cheri Peterson who won the national vault and all-around titles. The team was coached by Bill Hopkins.
