Northern Illinois: Spent the last four years at Mid-American Conference member Northern Illinois...Recorded one tackle in two games in 2020...Saw action in 10 games and made eight starts at linebacker during the 2019 campaign...Ranked eighth on the team with 37 tackles...Ranked third on the team with 5.5 tackles for loss...Recorded a safety at Nebraska and blocked a field goal...In 2018, made 28 tackles while playing in all 14 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams...Registered at least one tackle in 12 of 14 games to rank as the top freshman tackler on the team...Redshirted in 2017.

Prep: Three-year letterwinner and two-time captain at McCluer South-Berkeley High School...First-Team All-Suburban Central Conference selection as a junior and senior, and was a second-team honoree in 2014...First-Team All-Area selection in 2016...Garnered First-Team All-State honors in 2016 and Second-Team All-State accolades in 2015...Named the Class 3A Defensive Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association...Also played basketball, where he was a member of the 2013 and 2016 regional championship runner-up and 2015-16 district championship runner-up basketball teams.
