TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Southeast Missouri soccer (0-6-0) went on the road and fell to Indiana State (3-3-2) 5-0 Sunday afternoon.
The Sycamores outshot the Redhawks 21-11. Indiana State had 13 shots on goal compared to SEMO's four.
Cayla Koerner started in goal and made five saves while letting in two but only played 33 minutes. She played the full 90-minutes finishing the game in the field.
Macie Hockett made her first appearance in goal collecting three saves.
Indiana State scored in the sixth minute and the 20
th minute to take a 2-0 lead at half. They opened the half with two goals in three minutes, before adding another one in the 57
th minute.
Melissa Kubin led the squad with two shots on target.
Olivia Klinkhardt and
Zerina Markovic both had two shots with one on goal.

The Redhawks are on the road again Thursday when they travel to Murray, Kentucky to take on Murray State with kickoff slated for 3 p.m., CT.
