SEMOÂ Soccer Returns Home for Two Matches Thursday and Sunday
Southeast Missouri Soccer (0-3-0) will return to Houck Field for a pair of non-conference matches, beginning with Missouri State (1-2-1) on Thursday at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the Redhawks will host North Alabama (0-1-2) with kickoff slated for 1 p.m.
International Student Night
The matchup with North Alabama will also feature International Student Night, along with recognizing the cross-country team at halftime.

Missouri State
The Redhawks are 1-4 against the Bears with the most recent matchup being on August 25, 2022 where SEMO lost 2-0. The Redhawks are 1-1 at home against Missouri St. with the lone win came on September 19, 2021in which the squad won 1-0.
North Alabama
The Redhawks have yet to face the Lions, setting Sunday up to be the first meeting between the programs.
Last week
SEMO went on the road to Southern Illinois University and fell 2-0. Goalkeeper
Madison Geisler faced 21 total shots, including 11 on goal, and recorded a career-high nine saves. Offensively, the Redhawks tallied six total shots with three on target. Forward

The Salukis took a 1-0 lead in the 35
th minute on a goal from Dory Latenser. The game stayed 1-0 until the 81
st minute until Dana Nadda added an insurance goal.
Offensive Spark at Home
The Redhawks dropped their home opener 4-3 against Evansville but showed signs of offensive rhythm.
Justi Nelson led the charge with two goals, while midfielder
Amelia Lawrence added one. As a team, SEMO generated 10 shots and six on goal — their highest totals in a single game this season. Five different Redhawks recorded a shot on goal.

Through the first three games, SEMO has recorded 20 total shots with 12 on target, producing a 60-percent shot-on-goal rate. Nelson leads the team with six total shots, including three on goal.
Zerina Markovic has taken four shots this season, all on frame. Overall, nine different Redhawks have recorded a shot, with seven registering at least one on goal.
Durability
Rachel Krtezer is the only Redhawk who has yet to be subbed off, playing all 90 minutes in the first three games. Defenders
Cayla Koerner and
Zoe Houston have each logged a full 90 minutes in two contests. Nelson has been subbed off for only three minutes,
Emma Cloud has seen just 10 minutes off the field, and
Melissa Kubin has missed only 11 minutes all season. Meanwhile,
Emily Baker continues to ramp up after missing the season opener due to injury, playing 32 minutes against Belmont University and 66 minutes against Southern Illinois.
