Redhawks Host Webster Wednesday
•    Southeast Missouri (0-2) welcomes NCAA Division III member Webster University (1-0) for its home-opener Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT at the Show Me Center.
•    Webster is the third-straight Missouri school SEMO faces this season.
•    The Redhawks started the year with road games at Saint Louis (Nov. 3) and Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    Webster, located in St. Louis, makes its second trip to Cape Girardeau.

Series Notes
•    Southeast Missouri and Webster hook up for the second time.
•    SEMO holds a slight 1-0 edge in the series.
•    The Redhawks beat the Gorloks, 76-64, on Dec. 4, 2021.
•    Wednesday's game is an exhibition for the Gorloks.

Non-Division I Opponents
•    Webster University is one of three non-NCAA Division I opponents on Southeast Missouri's non-conference slate.
•    SEMO will also host St. Mary of the Woods (Dec. 2) and Saint Xavier (Ill.) (Dec. 14) this year.
•    The Redhawks are on a 40-game winning streak against non-Division I opponents.
•    Head Coach Brad Korn is 11-0 all-time in such games. 
•    Korn is 2-0 vs. Missouri Baptist, 1-0 vs. William Woods, 1-0 vs. Harris-Stowe, 1-0 vs. Lindsay Wilson College, 1-0 vs. Webster, 1-0 vs. Lyon College, 1-0 vs.
Crowley's Ridge, 1-0 vs. Bethel (Tenn.), 1-0 vs. St. Mary of the Woods and 1-0 vs. Westminster.
•    The Redhawks have not allowed more than 61 points in each of their last nine meetings with non-Division I teams. SEMO outscored its opponents by a combined 781-449 (+332) in that span.

Home-Openers
•    Southeast Missouri is 25-9 in home-openers since joining the NCAA Division I ranks in 1991-92.
•    SEMO began its home slate with a win in nine of the last 13 years and posted victories in 16 of its previous 20 home-opening contests.
•    The Redhawks won their home-opener in six of their last nine seasons.
•    SEMO is 2-3 in home-openers under Head Coach Brad Korn.
•    Korn's first home-opening win was an 83-46 victory over Lyon College on Nov. 12, 2022.

Strong at Home
•    Brad Korn posted a winning record at home each of his first five seasons as head coach.
•    Southeast Missouri's 12-3 record at the Show Me Center in 2024-25 is his best home record to date.
•    Korn is 44-25 all-time in Cape Girardeau.
•    The Redhawks are on a four-game home winning streak dating back to last season.
•    SEMO led the Ohio Valley Conference in home attendance during OVC play a year ago.

Near Upset in Columbia
•    The Redhawks nearly pulled off an upset at SEC member Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    Southeast Missouri led the Tigers, 51-46, at halftime and was ahead by nine (55-46) with 18:55 left to play in the second half.
•    Missouri, which missed 12 free throws, made six in the final 47 seconds to fend off the Redhawks in its close 89-84 win.

Stacker Off to Great Start
•    Braxton Stacker scored double figures in each of his first two starts of the 2025-26 campaign.
•    Stacker opened the year with 12 points at Saint Louis (Nov. 3) and followed that up with a career-high 26 points four days later at Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    The 26-point effort at Missouri marked the 20th double-digit scoring game of Stacker's career.
•    He leads SEMO in scoring (19 ppg) and rebounding (4.0 ppg) two games into the season.

Almodovar Excels
•    In his second NCAA Division I start, Luke Almodovar dropped in 24 points and buried five 3-pointers at Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    Almodovar is currently Southeast Missouri's second-leading scorer with 16 points a game.
•    He also leads the Redhawks with six 3-pointers made.

Free Throw Streak
•    Braxton Stacker has made all 10 of his free throws through two starts this young 2025-26 season.
•    Stacker, who shot 82.3 percent from the charity strip a year ago, has made 23 consecutive free throws dating back to the 2024-25 season.
•    He last missed a free throw at Southern Indiana on Feb. 8, 2025.
•    Stacker is one of 19 players in NCAA Division I basketball who have gone perfect at the free throw line with a minimum of 10 attempts this year.

Nice Defense
•    The Redhawks forced 19 turnovers at Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    Just two games into this season, Southeast Missouri has already reached its mark for most forced turnovers in a game it had in  2024-25.
•    SEMO didn't force 19 turnovers in a game until its final regular-season contest at Eastern Illinois on Mar. 1, 2025.
•    Opponents are turning the ball over an average of 17 times a game against the Redhawks thus far.

Bell Steps Up
•    Maqueas Bell came off the bench to score double figures in both of Southeast Missouri's games this season.
•    Bell finished with 10 points in 22 minutes at Saint Louis (Nov. 3) and 13 points in 17 minutes at Missouri (Nov. 7).
•    It marked the first time Bell scored double figures in back-to-back games since at SIU Edwardsville (18 pts., Feb. 17, 2024) and  vs. Little Rock (10 pts., Feb. 22, 2024).

Starting Streaks
•    Brendan Terry has not missed a start in his two-year career at Southeast Missouri.
•    Terry has started 35-consecutive games.
•    Troy Cole, Jr. started 17-straight games dating back to Jan. 16, 2025 and BJ Ward started 34-straight contests since Nov. 10, 2024.

3-Pointer Streak
•    The Redhawks have made at least one 3-pointer in 524 consecutive games.
•    The last time Southeast Missouri did not make a 3-pointer was vs. Western Illinois (0-of-6) on Dec. 10, 2008.

About Webster
•    Webster University is 1-0 this season with a recent 82-66 win at Welch College (Nov. 7).
•    Southeast Missouri is the second-straight NCAA Division I opponent WU will face. Games against Division I foes are exhibition for the Gorloks.
•    WU was picked first in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Preseason Poll.
•    The Gorloks went 15-13 overall and 12-6 in conference action a year ago.
