CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Nova Ojutkangas tabbed Co-OVC Female Runner of the Week after her performance at the UT Martin XC OVC Preview the league announced Wednesday morning.

Ojutkangas continued her dominance and placed first in the women's 6000-meter race. The French native crossed the finish line at 21:17.5, 27.2 seconds faster than the second place athlete, ahead of 80 other athletes from six other schools, including five OVC schools.

She is sharing the weekly award with Aaliyah Joshua from Little Rock. The time was only five seconds slower than the SEMO 6k record, making this her second OVC Weekly award.

Ojutkangas will be back in action Sep. 27 for the Gans Creek Classic on the campus of the University of Missouri.
