BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Alecia Doyle of Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball was selected to the 2023-24 All-Ohio Valley Conference Second Team, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. 
 
A sophomore from Herrin, Ill., Doyle was the Redhawks leading scorer over this past season. She finished the season averaging 13.4 points-per-game and ended the season on an eight-game double-digit point streak. 
 
Doyle registered a career-high 31 points against Tennessee Tech on February 8 at the Show-Me Center. She scored 20 or more points in four games this season. 
 
Along with scoring, Alecia hauled in 116 rebounds (4.0 RPG), dished out 34 assists (1.2 APG), and registered 33 steals (1.1 SPG) on the defensive end for the Redhawks. 
 
She started in all 29 games in 2023-24 and had a season shooting percentage of .378 (139-368). She was stellar at the free-throw line averaging nearly 80-percent (.786) with an 88-112 mark. 

From three-point range, Doyle was one of the team's best shooting .286 from deep (24-84). 
 
The Redhawks concluded the 2023-24 campaign last Saturday evening with a 70-59 loss at Southern Indiana, finishing the year with a 9-20 overall record and a 6-12 OVC record.
