Ojutkangas Claims Third OVC Weekly Award

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Nova Ojutkangas claims Ohio Valley Female Runner of the Week for her performance at the Gans Creek Invitational the league announced Wednesday morning.
Ojutkangas tabs her third OVC weekly award in as many races. The Freshman led the women for the third time this season. She crossed the line at 21:04.1 (50th) ahead of 283 other athletes and 35 other division one schools while achieving a new personal best.
She will be back in action Oct. 18 at the Angel Mounds Invitational for the final race of the regular season.
